Estate of the Art.

The 309 looks horrible, bet it would have sold really well if they'd made it.

when they did finally do a wee estate, it was just as ugly.

A couple more 309 "break"s, first with the clever idea of just putting on a different tailgate:

Second looks like it might be photoshopped, hard to tell.

Renault 5 "Super Van", looked wank from every angle:

Quite a popular conversion it seems - shame the original Honda is a bit fugly in the first place

Maximum shite points must go to the estate conversions of rear engined cars as the increase in load carrying functionality must be smaller than a gnats cock.

Erm, sorry I'm late, I've got a note from my mum.

Just spotted this beauty on the Hemmings blog

1962FordThunderbird_02_700.jpg

Its a 62 Tbird with the top off a 65 Olds vista cruiser welded on

I think its a cracker. :D

That T-Bird is WIN. 8)

Don't think I've posted this yet, I did a little amateur 'Shoop' of my black Royale a while back. Would have made quite a stylish estate I reckon. :D

A couple of more unusual estate variants:

Honda Fit Shuttle (Jazz)

Nissan March estate (Micra)

Agree. That's horrible. Quite like the frontal styling though. The ol' Prinny responds well to the bumperless look.

The wheels would look good on a stanced 2200HLS in black, though.

Just remembered Ginetta's masterpiece!

Hello Jeanetta, you look "Kewt" I do hope that Q car heap is not running round wet Detroit....

Looks like a horse hearse trying to burst out of the back of Comigel. Wretched.

If this is real, it's cooler than a polar bear's ball bag.

While I do think it's very nice, where do you think the engine goes?

The Volvo 1800 looks brilliant! This - less so...

This was a showcar for triplex, seen it at gaydon a few years ago and it looks just as bad in the metal!

I is stunningly beautiful. What a shame that I cannot own it.

I remember seeing that Triplex Princess when it came out, I thought it was quite smart apart from the silly graphics.

The Countach is a well-known Photoshop. You can still see the horizontal split in the driver's door window that's been altered in the passenger side.

Also I can tell it's a shoop because of the pixels etc....

^^^^

Only if they take the concrete blocks out of the boot first.

I don't mean to pick holes in what is a highly desirable motor, and this is a highly desirable motor <\Vinnie Jones>

but why didn't they deal with the spring rates/ride height after they'd finished adding all that massive extra weight of coachwork and glass on the back end? For me, it spoils the aesthetic no end.

Just saying like...

Ah, I've got it - it's perfectly level once you've scooped the prerequisite number* of peasants and beggars off the tree-lined driveway and onto the front bumper on the way out of the grounds

*when towing, the prerequisite number is higher. Obviously.
