Additional Information:

it's an 87 305ci V8 (5.0) Auto. Engine and box run well, and it sounds fantastic. Body work is good - it has a small bit of bubbling on the drivers side front wing, and a bit on the screen pillars, apart from that it's very tidy. Paint is presentable, it has a few places where it could do with cutting back but it shines well and looks good. T tops seal well and don't leak, and it has the bag for them in the boot. Interior is tidy with no rips. It has a B&M mega shifter in it which looks good and is nice to use.

Tyres are all matching and have lots of tread left.

MOT is til next March, Tax is up at the end of this month.

Have some pics :)

Nearly bought a manual one of these years ago. Nowhere near as hopeless as most people would imagine. Sounded ace.

Sounds like a sale there? :)

Heh, the car situation is insane enough as it is and my trade policy excludes Yanks (which for some bizarre reason doesn't apply to the Jeep.)

Otherwise, yada yada yada.

With todays sky high gas prices I'm worried what mileage I'd get outta it. Is the a decent rebate on the sticker price?

I had one for a bit, and they're not bad on juice, up to high twenties on a run, and high tens round town. That's tickling it along, which is, of course, exactly what you don't end up doing with any V8 !

It's the TPI injection motor, so is actually suprisingly 'ok' on fuel - 21 round town and mid 20's on a run :)

As Pete says, although they are very much American to drive, you can actually hustle it along and it grips and goes round corners well!

I was gutted to miss this the first time it came around on Retro-Rides. Made the mistake of thinking about it, but someone just swooped in to buy it. (guess it was the chap you bought it off?). I really, really like these a lot, but instead of saving up and buying a fabulous American V8, I've sunk all my funds into two knackered diesels (Range Rover and BX). Sometimes I do question my sanity!
