Anyone suggest a good car to do a rat look on?

I personally really fancied the 65 Wolesley that was on e-bay a week ago,but i was on hols, not interested in beetles etc,had a MK1 Triumph 2000 that looked the part, really liked that, any suggestions or anyone got anything suitable for sale?

I think a an honest patina is best TBH.

Ratlook by definition is false, surely? Any "look" involves making something look like a series of standards and rules.

What you want is honest-look. If you want a car that looks like it was dragged out of a canal, best get your Hep B jab and buy a snorkel.

Leaving something in a barn for 20 years makes a great rat look IMHO. Not the best for shitters in a hurry though, but perfect if you want to play the long game, or to have "OMG Barn find Corsa" etc. Threads in 2031.

When I pulled the A40 out of the garage for the retro show, I was amused to notice that a passing rat had left its footprints in the dust on the dash top. I left it instead of cleaning it off.

Someone at the show commented "it's only rat look if there is a chance of catching Weil's disease"

Audi A3 1.9 TDi S-Line.

I have to agree, or maybe the A4 with the same engine/trim spec.

Isn't that rat race look as opposed to mere rat look?

The sight of cheese in the distance might make a good rat look.

My thoughts exactly... :D

I am considering getting a red door to replace the rotten one on the green Saab, not to rat look it but to piss off my neighbours who stare at the car in disgust when they walk their dogs past it.

If you ask me its a bit fucking rich considering they there are 2 Nissan Qashqais and a Chrysler Crossfire within spitting distance of it.
