Should be good on fuel too...

Also, second for a 740 Saloon. Even if the estate is more practical.

You would come on at this time of night expecting a sensible answer... 740's are pretty good, decent saloons shouldn't cost too many roubles these days even for a pretty late one. 850 estate maybe for slightly less big antics?

Sorry, woke up after seeing this pic. This, ladies and gentlemen is what happens if you give a complete and serviceable vehicle in good condition to Gaydon to look after. It was built like this and was totally original down to the curtains and the bastards left it to rot outside to this state. Boils my piss this does. :x

Anyway back to taking the piss.....

Apparently the boot opens to reveal two 'dickey' seats, whatever they are.

If you need to tow 1500kg, shirley that's a 4x4 only?

Not necessarily. The BX is a feeble 1.9 NA diesel but the max tow weight is 1100kg. (and may have once towed 1300kg...)

Great thread folks! (sorry FT...)

They are just that, seats that are built into the boot. I think the bootlid usually forms the backrest. They were mostly found on pre-war sports cars.
