Monica, from 1968/69.  Totally hand-formed bodywork by blokes with shirt-&-tie below their overalls and a set of hammers.  Check out the roof-pillars, they started out as steel rods.  Williams and Pritchard.

VEB Kombinat Robotron was the DDR's computer manufacturer - from personal computers to main frames. The DDR was the Blocs go to country for sophisticated electronics. The rump of the combine continues as Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH specialising in, you've guessed it, software rather than hardware.
