I wasn't going to mention it but I too thought Aspergers Syndrome. My brother has it and it has fucked his whole life up pretty much. We don't speak too often now . As has been mentioned though, there only seems to be some aspects of Aspergers present. Of course, there are varying levels of severity from "slightly weird" to full on autism.

 

Aspergers Syndrome is basically all about having ZERO social skills. Its not a fun place to be when you think about it. If it bothers people so much then just hit the ignore button, but please, no threats of violence!

You may see it as a real problem and the fact I come across as a bully. But I am fed up with soft soaping left wing goody-goodies that allow excuses to rule over common sense. I was totally fed up with paraphrasing, quotes, other peoples opinions, verbatim "copy and paste" tracts from major motoring tomes etc. Any amount of gentle ribbing fell on deaf ears. Yes, I could have set him to ignore, but I guess with Halloween season upon us, I felt a witch-hunt coming on. I have no guilt, no problems with what I have done, and would do it again.

 

It's a shame that Fred saw fit to make a comparison to the way she was treated. This is entirely different. This is private education, what happened to her was cruel and unjust. This child will learn from this experience. It will help him in the future. As for Fred, I'm sorry if this offends you. It is in no way connected to how you were treated, and I was in no way involved in that. This is not a vendetta. I come on here to preserve my sanity. Not to have a small dog keep trying to fuck my leg. Just TRY to ignore that.................

chaseracer, that's where you have entirely missed my point. I am aware of how I am perceived, and am in no doubt that users on here will hold that perception for a long time. However. I OWN that fact. ER, for all his good intentions, is oblivious to any suggestions to calm it down a bit, perhaps try another tack, or indeed just give a brief moment between posts. He is toatally unaware of how he is perceived. (or is he??) But no. Therefore I do what I do. Sure, I get bad press, but there are a few curtain twitchers on here that agree with me, but say nowt.
