School bus in Dallas. I'm intrigued by the rear overhang on these. As I took the picture I heard Otto tell the kids to sit down at the back.

The reason I went to Dallas. I'm not that interested in the whole JFK phenomonen but you can't be that close and not go for a look. Taken from the grassy knoll and the book depository is on the left, with the sixth floor window not quite visible. There is an X on the road to mark the spot.

A car park full of police cars, there were actually a lot more than you see here. Everywhere we ate there was at least one cop, sometimes several. I was told that means it's a good place to eat.

Out transport for the week, they call it a Frontier, we call it a Navara. The owner is just visible on the left. She made it absolutely clear that this is a girl's truck and a man would never be seen driving one- something to drop into conversation next time you encounter someone who thinks his Navara is a four-wheeled pitbull.

There was a shop selling these horns for $90. I wanted a set for the Volvo but I wasn't sure I'd be allowed them as hand baggage.

The happy couple's transport to the honeymoon suite. The owner restored it himself and has several other VW projects on the go. He isn't a fan of ratlook.

That school bus is mental, I wonder if all the kids ran to the back and started jumping up and down in unison they could get the front wheels off the ground while driving round town, its gotta be worth a try.

It's not Tennents, you can get Boddingtons and Belhaven there but not Tennents. It will be advertising some eatery I expect. I think I got another truck like that, I'll see if I can crop it to acceptable zoomage. (just checked, it wasn't a truck but I'll post it anyway)

 

All the school buses seem to have that overhang. They probably couldn't get the wheels right off the ground but they could unsettle it quite a bit I'm sure.

 

Here is the Beetle owner and the happy couple. Obviously the grins are mostly because of how they are planning to fill the rest of the day but the car must be making some contribution. The bride is the owner of the Nissan Frontier.
