good work! I enjoyed the sellers description of his eBay sniping technique!!! All sounds very complicated.

Not bad. Short test though. I can't help but think a Pug 205 would of suited you better though...

Qual.

I would drive that.

Cardigan to Wrexham, that's a chore of a drive though, I did it (the other way Liverpool > Fishguard during a fugging winter storm, took me about 4 bloody hours.

Looks great, I'd love one of those just because I'd enjoy doing the linseed oil job on the front bumper, there'd be something very satisfying about going through each eggcrate hole one by one until the whole thing is a nice dark grey. I ponder this every time I see one.

Dear god, man.

It'll take a few months of abuse and then a short but worthy trip to Bridgeland where it'll probably pay for itself.

If you're really unlucky it'll last years.

LOL @ Pete-m

however, it looks like its on it's original wheel trims. So it will last forever.. I can just tell.

Love his bit of advice, I don't think it helped much! Cheap car with Tax & MOT :)

Maybe it’s the low mileage that has generated the interest it this vehicle but currently, 4:30 on Saturdays afternoon 4th of September there are 28 people “watching†this item, so if you are eager to be the winning bidder don’t leave it too late to enter your bid!

The auction is timed to finish at just after 6pm on Sunday so you might want leave yourself a note to remind you to bid before then.

Personally when I’m buying I use eBay’s “maximum bid†system about two and a half minutes before the end of the auction. If you haven’t used it you may want look at the eBay rules and see how it works.

I synchronise a kitchen timer to the “eBay Auction time†as once you submit your bid the screen changes and you lose the eBay timer, I then only press the “confirm bid†when my timer says there’s about 40 seconds to go. I’ve not been brave enough to leave it closer than that in case it took too long to download. By doing this I only enter the maximum price that I’ve thought about rather than a last second panic, I out bid my rivals and eBay’s system only increases my bid by one increment (£2) above the nearest higher rival bid. You can still lose out if you are out bid by someone with a higher “Maximum bidâ€Â

I do this because I was out bid on something I really wanted, I would have paid more for it but I wasn’t quick enough and the auction was over before I could update my bid.

Good luck.

If it ends up going over the bridge, keep the engine as the 1300 is THE choice for a Nova autograss car.

i do try something along these lines, but using 2 browser windows and keeping one ready to bid, and refreshing the other one works just as well.

you dont even need to hit refresh these days, its counts down itself. god bless web2.0

Why not just bid the most you want to pay, sometime reasonably near the end? This guys egg timer nonsense seems crazy to me. The person who's bid the most wins, regardless of when his bid went in.
