I think the photos will have to be in landscape form though and their will need to be a decent resolution of the image so it can be blown up into A4 size for the calender unless anyone knows any better?.

Will this calender be divvied up into 12 months? That's what everyone does and to be frank it's a bit boring, if new names can be invented then there's no limit to how many months we can have, ie.

Back in the early days I remember someone posted up some photos he had taken of old cars in front of a scratty council house. This must have been well over 5 years ago. The pics were brilliant and got a great response. These will have been purged in the clearout. Anyone else remember?

So are we trying to have pics that 'represents' AS, as in running around in a cruddy old car while everyone else follows the crowd - or just pics of our old cars which are often too good to be shite?

 

A lot of these pics/cars show a more-or-less classic car parked out in some nice scenery that could make it into a normal car calender. Personally I'd prefer something more obscure or leftfield. Bollocks' P100 alone in the field, the Stellar in the car park, Des' Scamp/Moke in suburbia, the Lotus cab or any slowly deteriorating heap on a drive for everyone else to see.

There was one of an old Ford Capri, washing machines, prams and other detritous outside a house.

And how about having a spoof business supposedly advertising the calendars (Pog's Surveys or Hirst Cabs, as already mentioned), like this:

Similar to the sort of thing tyre depots and the like send out to customers.

 

We needn't be sticking to a twelve month calendar alone though. We could always have an advent calendar, with a picture of shite beneath each little door. Anyone got a festive image that could be the main one on the front of the advent calendar?

 

Imagine waking up on Christmas morning and being able to open up door 25 to reveal a picture of an Ital van.
