Autoshite Calender

If there was an Autoshite calender featuring 12 of our favorite photos from this site would you guys buy it and what photos would you have in it??.

 

Personally if i was picking photos then I think Boobydoo would feature quite heavily!, This one would have to be the cover photo!

 

 

and this one would have to feature in one of the summer months (You wouldn't want it to feature in Autumn as the rain would rust it away).

 

 

i also think Mr_Lobz R4 Van would make a nice photo as well

 

 

Of course there's been many other fantasic photos of old shite posted on here so what would you like to grace your kitchen wall?.

I really like the idea of a calendar with some of the all-time worst eBay shitters we have seen, the 'legends' i mean like the 'kozy coupe limo' photo and the unbelievable yellow 'X-pack' fiesta convertible. Unfortunatley to make one of those you'd either have to get the seller to send you some decent size pics or be restricted to ads with the supersize mega pictures so it would take a while to get a year's worth of real dross together. I reckon it would be pretty popular though if you could find the right outlet to sell it.

If there's a decent amount of interest and if we can find 12 decent photos that we can use then I'm willing to make some calenders, I found one website where 25 calenders cost £104, I'm happy to pay that as long as well can sell them all or I'm out of pocket!.

Some calendars I have seen often have a monthly quotation from some philosopher for each month. We should do the same! "Double the Stanza's, double the Pussy", and "I'd be hitting that like a ginger stepchild", that sort of thing.

 

Shouldnt be too hard to come up with 12 comments of that nature from on here

Yeah that's the real pain - I would say nearly all of the legend-spec motors are crummy little 400x300 pictures, e.g. the Hustler-based ice cream van. Perhaps you could do all them onto a little desk calendar.

I think it would be best to steer away from using random internet images - copyright and all that. I know I'd probably be a little peeved if I found one of my photos appeared on a calender that was being sold (even if not for profit) without being asked. Courtesy and all that.

 

I think there's probably a good enough library of Autoshite member's own spot photos.

WVM - If you want to looking into getting the Calenders made then feel free, I'm happy enough to do them but I'm struggling to work out where to get them done cheap enough, I haven't been into town yet to look though so i don't know of somewhere like Sainsburys or Boots do them cheap?
