Each to their own, I love Revos and Ford RS 4 spokes as well as a few other 4 spoke designs

I do like genuine Revolutions and RS 4 -spokes however the modern Revolutions (Revolites)  with that huge outer rim can go in the bin and who ever thought a 15” version of the RS 4-Spoke was a good idea needs a  good talking to.

still not sure I wouldn’t drive any of the ones posted so far!

I reckon they can look good -

Massive gold multispoke split rims, late model beetle 😍

equally large silver multi spokes on an Amazon - phwooooaaarrr [rubs thighs enthusiastically]

I don’t think it’s the alloys themselves spoiling most of the cars people have posted, just that people often go too big, and also get a bit heavy handed with the lowering stick…..

There's no rulebook when it comes to modifying cars, but there are lots of rules you shouldn't break. You just know when it's not right

It depends what you want a car for. If it's purely for shows and posting photos of it on Retro Rides and Instagram then anything goes but as someone who used an Amazon as a daily driver for a while I reckon I'd do a couple of grand's worth of damage to that one just driving it to and from work once. And that's assuming it's got air to lift the body off the deck.

The fella who lives opposite seems to be a serial Minor botherer and recently had this parked outside. It was actually very tidy up close but the wheels really looked odd to me

The only people that didn't like these wheels were on the forum. Almost everyone who saw it in the flesh commented on how much the wheels completed the car's look.

I agree. I don't like 3500S steel trims, they look stodgy. It's not a stodgy car, it needs some wheels that give it muscle.

Wheels are okay, bright tacky center caps scream eBay/temu.

The body is nowhere near the deck - you can see right under it.

I've daily driven cars lower than that, in the countryside, over all kinds of speed jumps, on roads that make fields look smooth etc.

Don’t disagree, I’d personally have them both a bit higher, I like a bit of arch gap. But the wheels, they’re great.

This popped up on facebollox.

I was curious about this as it does look pretty slammed on first glance. A quick image search;

Assuming this brown example is an accurate representation of standard, I'd guess the "best P6" is about 45-50mm lower on the front, perhaps less on the rear. That's pretty low but not absurd, about as low as is practical on most cars (depending how you define practical ofc).

It's down about 80-100mm at the front. It's as low as you can go on a p6 without major surgery and reengineering the suspension.

Ghia.

Si wheels have curved spokes without lines.

Perhaps they’re on just to roll it about during a resto.

They are, it's getting Revolutions
