Breaking Mk2 Cavalier 1.6L saloon

Breaking a 1986 Mk2 Cavalier 1.6L 4 dr saloon (4sp Manual) one with the full light panel at the back. Approx 40k from new - very rotton chassis but still some good panels

both rear doors good / bonnet / boot. N/S/F door good frame but needs a reskin. O/S/F door just starting to corrode at bottom. Nice Light blue interior.

I'll post pics at weekend but please register interest. If no interest will probably go to scrap next week. I have limited time as i'm pulling a favour from a mate with regards his land. Will only post small items. Large items to be collected

 

 

I'm based 5 mins from junction 40 M1 - car is being broken in Selby so items can be moved between locations if that helps.

Registering mucho interest! Seats, front suspension/hubs/driveshafts, other stuff too. Am away for much of the next month or so, but can come and help dismantle this weekend.

Me too! I'd like the front screen if it's saveable? Would probably take the OSF door off you as well, along with some other bits most probably. Am based between York and Leeds. Any idea on prices?

If it has rear seat belts whizz them off as they're quite sought after.

 

Also if the boot support arm things are good keep them too, though they're a bastard to get off.

All interest registered and i'll take care removing screen (I've sold the scuttle panel so it has to come out anyway. No rear seat belts that I can remember and bumpers are shot front and rear.

The best way to remove a screen in one piece is to cut the rubber off. The rubber can be salvaged off the recipient car because presumably its windscreen is buggered anyway.
