Big fan here of paper instructions and maps. The Australia booklet ran to nearly 50 pages of daily instructions, maps, directions and booking confirmations, and the Europe trip later this year is heading the same way. Australia 2027 will be even bigger. Can’t run out of battery, can’t easily break them. Paper maps and instructions have a lot of advantages.

Accidentally reset the trip computer yesterday at some point but here’s a quick snapshot of some numbers. Includes one fuel stop and a short detour off the highway.

And why, of all the places to stay, did we stay in this shit-hole last night? We always wanted to stay in those hotels that look like people might get murdered in them.  Those movie-type places, all gloomy and sinister. So we are only staying in hotels where people have been murdered. Here’s the story from the place we are soon checking out of.
