That Avensis looks smart outside, could be entertaining on the inside but is outside of my price point but fits the local brief almost perfectly.

The cold cranking issue with that Avensis would put me off.

A mate had one and it was 10mins of trying before the thing would start on a cold morning,despite new glow plugs.

Was a great car otherwise.

I bought a dirt cheap mk3 golf from eBay a number of years ago, had been used as a mobile kennel/chew toy for 3 fucking massive dogs. The car was about 90 quid but I had to strip the interior out completely including the headlining. The rest was scrubbed daily for about a week and was just about ok. Can’t/wont repeat that experience again, ever 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Last summer,had a 57 reg Civic diesel.Long MOT ,towbar, Working climate,2 keys,lots spent for test.600 quid,would and did take 500.Could I sell it on here?Could I eck as like....!

I had the wagon version of one of these new as a company car back in the day.  Really liked it although load capacity was small compared to the Volvo 940s I had afterwards

Nothing changes then... You've just described the one-owner Toyota Cressida Estate I had in 1986 (DCK 901S).  I swept it but didn't strip it out....
