I can't do photoshop, but if someone could imagineer a Renault 12 2-door convertible, that would be gr999.

Mk1 Fiesta Estate :) .... Pretty sure i have seen a picture of one, but for the life of me cannot find it.

Estates are full of WIN- I once doodled an estate back end onto the picture in my dad's mk1 Cav Autodata manual- would have looked seriously sexy I reckon.

That would look DEMENTED.

Thank you, kind Sir, that's the plan. Actually, an R12 front end, 'shopped onto this:

might not be so far away from the brief?

Desire is being felt. Off to the bathroom, brb.

Horrible! Absolutely horrible!

I'm probably going to be alone with my opinion on the Rovolvero Estate to which I guessed you were referring, but I think it looks feckin' champion!

Given that estates like the Volvo are popular would a Talbot Tagora estate have been a saving grace for the company.

Austin 1100s with the rust-traps engineered out.

Hillman Imps with 20% more cooling capacity.

Any Metro, Maestro or Montego made with galvanised steel.

Rover SD1 series 1s with "ordinary" paint and decent quality control.

Rover SD1 estates! They'd have really pissed on the Volvo 240's fire.

Volvo 240 Turbo estates! They'd have really pissed on the SD1 Vitesse estate's fire!

2.5 litre Triumph GT6.

A-series Metros with interlinked suspension and 5-speed gearboxes.

A-series Metro Turbos with gearboxes that could handle the power.

It seems the UK-car-makers missed the most chances... No wonder they almost all disappeared.

Factory option of the 2.8 litre engine For the mk5 cortina would have been great.

S'pose it would have looked like a larger vrsion of this Alpine estate

My father owned a Mk2 Cavalier SRI 7-Seater Estate. I know, there's no such thing, it was fitted with 2.0 engine, stiffer suspension and SRI alloys + grille by the previous owner. My dad got it at the end of its life for £150 and bolted a 2cv rear seat in the boot for us kids to sit in - no seatbelts mind! It rotted away in the end and he got £150 of a Lada Riva when he sold it.

Like this,

but in red, lower.

Actually a bit like this, but with the proper bbs type SRI wheels

Fair play, that's lush.

I'd have liked to have seen a Mk3 Cavalier estate, can't understand why they didn't make one.

I´d say small estate cars are FTG, but anyway...:lol::lol:

Maybe because it didn't sell very well - not many were sold compared to the Montego and Sierra.

Whilst the Montego saloon was a distant third to the Cavalier and Sierra, the estate was a top seller.

Also the estate panels came from Holden in Australia, and Holden didn't get (or perhaps want) the Mk3 Cavalier.

It could also have stolen sales from the Carlton estate.

That Porsche is lush, not like how Cayennes are though. :D

DYK that the BMW touring models came about when one of the technicians needed more space in his 3 series, so he cut the roof off another one and welded it onto his. True story! :D

Jeepers, that Corrado estate looks absolutely awful. Triumph looks really good though.

Three door BX and three door Cavalier Mk3 I'd like to have seen, though would imagine the market for the latter would have been like two people.

Did they ever knock up a series 1/2/3 XJ6 estate at all? I reckon one of them would look class.
