Watching an old episode of Treasure Hunt (which quite ashamedly I appear in) which starts with Anneka in a rag top Leyland T45...

Some searching of the interweb show that it went off the road in 1997 - lasted just 11 years.

A friend of mine who works for a personal security company was assigned to Ms Croft when she did the 'Famous and Homeless' TV prog a while back. Basically, several 'celebrities' had to spend two weeks homeless on the streets of London to raise awareness for homeless charities. He had to do several 12 hour shifts following her at a distance to make sure no danger befell her. Very long and boring hours, in the middle of a freezing December.... but paid handsomely for the job. Someone did actually threaten her with a knife in a Homeless shelter as they didn't like the camera crew presence but this never made the TV transmission.
