Ladas, in the days of the 2105/2107 series and Samara, used to have a small but solid market share, targeting budget-conscious buyers. But the market changed, people looking for a no nonsense affordable car buy a Dacia or something South Korean, the popularity of Russia and Russian products is at an all-time low, the official Lada importer ceased to be in 2013, and the handful of dealers left moved on to other brands. People looking for a compact estate with this budget will probably just get a used Clio or Fabia.

From the description it sounds like a pile of work and that is to be expected with these.

Looks to be a typo on the engine size. These were never 1800, were they?

1966 Mega Tjaffer club 1.5. In the Netherlands for 5950€

The Tjaffer is based on the Citroën AX and production ran between 1992 and 1998.  The vehicle was produced by Aixam, they also badged cars as Mega.

The Dutch news said it is the only one in the country. However, I found an earlier (in the year) news article which gave a link to this dealer and the price is a whopping 356,950 €.

The trouble is they all look a like. so I cannot tell if they are the same.

Evidently you need a lorry drivers licence to use this on the public road. I think good luck getting it Europeanised
