Mk1 SEAT Ibiza & Malaga Register

Looks to be the same spec as the one I accidentally bought at auction in 2002 (I thought I was bidding on a Bedford Rascal).  Didn't have it long but remember it being a bland but not unpleasant drive, although the steering was rather stodgy.  Interior was clean but stank of fags.  It had some nice 5-spoke alloys on it which I ended up selling for more than I paid for the car.

Shame it didn't go to an owner who actually looked after it.

Yes it is, now in storage according to him. I know it was vandalized by locals too

Thought this might be worth a mention. Hopefully the above link works! It's a 1991 Malaga shown at a Breakers yard in Spain. Probably only available for parts though. ☹️

I didn't know the normal dashboard stalks made it to the Malaga. Maybe LHD only.

Wow, getting the owner on side by calling them a scumbag. 
Social media types are tone deaf. Good luck convincing them to come around if they see that, mate...

Part of the reason I left IG is because the teenagers on there are so very angsty about things when the owners of old cars aren't forthcoming with sharing the same enthusiasm they have.

It would take one bad day and one more snide little IG post like that - and I'd have the car pressed out of spite. 
Cars get scrapped that way, unfortunately. It can take a few people to run their mouth and that's that.
