Dollywobbler's Fleet Reduction Plan

Right, Scooter's having a clearout, and I need one too, as parking is getting a bit silly.

First up - Citroen 2CV. £100. Needs quite a lot, or you could break for parts and be quids in. You can get everything so if you reckon you can weld Bacofoil, welcome to your new project. Does run but a choke spring has snapped and the ignition barrel is missing due to no ignition key. Needs a chassis as well as bodywork.

Next one is the Bedford CF. £895. Now can haz MoT, and has five months tax. Has a starting issue (starter is weak so if it doesn't catch first time, you've had it) but has the larger 2.3-litre slant four and manual overdrive. 70mph no problem. C U LATER VEE DUBZ! Downsides are hand painted bodywork, typical Autosleeper leaky roof (cure by parking nose up) and gaffer tape bodywork repairs (bumper and bodysides). Interior is not bad.

May even be flogging the lovely Renault, but I've already got someone with first refusal on that.

Right, I'm reluctantly adding the Renault into the mix. It's really nice, but I've already got one similarly aged, similarly capable French car and with a house move (hopefully) coming up, less vehicles is probably wise.

Plus points. Drives really well (bar minor occasional misfire documented elsewhere on this forum), only 75k, recent cambelt change and service, MoT until Feb and tax to match. IT'S BROWN. Gorgeous leather seats (could do with a deep clean). Remote central locking works.

Minus points. Rear wheelarches need a tickle from a welder, sunroof doesn't quite work, clutch pedal sits a bit high (but works fine). A few minor dents in places.

I'd like £750. I got it cheap but I've spent a fair amount of my hard-earned on it since. If it doesn't sell, I'll stash it away as I'm really quite fond of the thing.

Before I attacked the bumpers with restorer.

Oh, I'm taking this one to Bristol Classic Car Show this weekend, so won't be around for viewings. Unless you're at the show that is!

Totally with you on that one Wobbler - see I remember when these came out, and I totally thought they were the dogs bollocks then too. One of my fave interiors/dashboards as well.Fucking hell do I want the cash to do 'mine' up!!Looking forward to getting keys and getting a battery in there. I have a feeling it'll be right as rain.

Mr S, with these cars you are spoiling us.Indeed if you were closer I would have the 2CV (unhelpful I know) Good luck with the clear out.

Ah, is that the gorgeous blue on with the beautiful wheels? Snapped it last year if it was. I'll come and say 'hi,' well, I'll try and remember. I'm annoyingly hopeless at remembering stuff and I seem to have said I'll say hello to loads of people there!
