One in, One out...Veccy love?

So today was the day that the Lovely Laguna departed my driveway as part of an exchange programme with @Rocket88.

The return journey was provided by the ex- @Popsicle Vectra.

I had been tempted to g8ve this a tickle before, but now it was a lot more local,  it made more sense.

I must admit though, I wanted to give it a make under so much... We begin...

Oh I definitely agree,  Mrs P has always had a way of taking away from things by adding more, if that makes sense? I prefer things to look more 'normal'. I'll take a pic of her current car one day - I'll add it too the 'naffest most crass giffer mods thread'!

I saw photos on the Qashqai Owners Club group on Facebook and somehow recognised the reg - I actually think it looks a bit better than the Vectra mods did...

Lol you need to go to Specsavers 🤣. She'll never tell me but it must have cost far more than the car is worth with all that shit stuck on it.

But as I've said before its her car she can do as she pleases with it - we've been together 30 years, she's always been the same girl racer.

No photo for today, but I removed the nav screen surround to clean off the superglue residue, ultimately ending in sanding and respraying it.  I'll wait and see what it dries like before I put it back in.

More work on the old bus today,  shed a few more stickers but needs some new vents as they dropped to bits when I took the surround off to paint it.

Trims and seat covers removed...

Spray job on this trim isn't great, probably too cold to be painting tbh.

Neither, thanksfully. It was the mirror glass that started wobbling, then it departed leaving only the backing plastic.

I hadn't zoomed the pic in tbh, the mountain of wobble wob looked like smashed glass! 

Proper repair or moar wob and a cheap glass? 😂

Yeah, I might swing by the scrappy for a mirror glass and some boot lid badges.

Nip into Halfords I’d say and glue another glass on. Not be much with a trade card.
