Brookside repeats with lots of chod

Cant see that this has been mentioned elsewhere but STV started a rerun of Brookside yesterday from the very first episode and its worth watching just for the cars.

I remember Ron Dixons 2.8 capri, Max Farnham had a Volvo 480, also remember  a mk1 1100s Fiesta , a Frontera  and the obvious MK1 Cortina..  Bobby Grant had a Montego as well I think.. this might be fun!

Barry Grant had a clapped out XJ6 S2, didn’t Ron have the Moby? That was a Bedford Vanplan I think. Wasn’t the Fiesta Mick Johnson’s?

Ron had the Bedford Moby and then a black 2.8 Injection Capri . Frank Rogers and then David Crosby had the mk1 Cortina

I remember Barry Grant doing an insurance job on his XJ6 , on a beach (?) , I think it was  maroon 3.4 with cloth seats and a beige vinyl roof.  I could of course be confusing it with one of the shonky S2s I owned around this time.
