That one WAS blue, and has the bits that an In Vogue would have.

The regular 'Vogue' was introduced in 1984, according to THIS ARTICLE.

Though I'll wager that I, the seller and AROnline are all "wrong", as Land Rover experts never are...

It'll be interesting to see what the Accord makes, looks just like mine but with a Hondamatic box.

Well call me Mr. Picky but I much prefer the square rear lights on later models to these early ones. Plus no CT on this, can't drive it back. Cheap though.

That merkur is a strange one. Awesome, but you have to wonder how it ever got over here....? Presumeably a yank who brought it with him/her ?

On a slight tangent, does anyone know what engines the yank Sierras ran? I remember seeing a dodgy 80s film with a chase sequence, where the noise sounded very V8-ish, and very over-dubbed

That looks like something off 'thereifixedit.com'!

LOL. Really, what is the point of fitting genuine panels (and making a song and dance about it on the net) if you are just going to vauguely pop-rivet them on?

Dear god, the mind boggles at the sheer fucking dim-wittedness of folk selling tat on the bay.

Can hear run via phone if seriously intrested.

I'm sure that many a 5-figure sale has been clinched that way.
