I would like to drive it.

I got one of these for free back in the mid 80's. Owner bought my dads three year old sierra ghia and asked if we wanted it else he would get scrappy to hiab it off thd road outside our house later that day. Even had tax and ticket.

I slapped a new rear door on it , welded up the sill and tuned the carbs and ran it for a year. It failed mot because the front wheel bearing cap was missing and they were like rocking horse shit. Found another at atkinsons breakers in colliers wood and it sailed through the retest. Sold it for £300 iirc

That 3p is making me pine for my old one... that was a great car, I think I'm going to need to have another at some point. Thema 16V is cheap, it's a late one too, so will be totally loaded with kitchen-sink spec. I like 'em, the facelifted ones especially are cool. 205bhp is a believable figure on these - the engine in an S3 is shared with an integrale Evo, so they're really pretty rapid in a straight line (weigh about 50kg less than an integrale).

Early 104, Looks a bit shagged mind

Sad tale of a nice car bought by me for my daughter was running well until she blew the head gaskett

I bet she's gutted, probably got something really horrid like a 106 or Saxo now.

I reckon he's a Banger Racer. There's a pre-75 meeting at Aldershot tomorrow,(about 5 miles from where he lives)wouldn't be surprised if the Princess ends up there.
