Had one of these years back now and swapped it for a 3.0S Mk3 Capri that had had an interior fire. I don't know why I'm telling you that but it's better than the 'according to how many left...' bollocks the vendor is quoting.

If it was absolutely mint, I think that a £3k price tag might be just about acceptable - but as he freely admits that

It's not concours-perfect, as there are a couple of minor shallow dents here and there, and a few touched-in marks
, I think he'll struggle.

A while back the water pump failed and a replacement fitted. Unknown at the time, the overheating caused severe damage to the original engine; so I located a replacement engine and various other bits and pieces to get it back on the road. Sadly this has not happened

 

Don't worry though - comes complete with

Haynes manual

This appeared about three weeks ago and has been relisted every week. It looks a peach, but the audience for these cars is so tiny, I think it's overpriced by maybe as much as a grand. If it was under two grand it would be worth buying and using as a daily in Summer instead of a modern. Only a fool would use it in Winter, so the audience drops even further. Unfortunately, if it were the equivalent VW - an early Polo, maybe - it would have attracted a lot more interest.

Theres something really horrible about this...is it just me or is this just plain ugly...if it were a woman it would be require beer goggles, and the cider visor...salty (to me) @ £4850 but wait!!!
