Stone me, look at this grade A shite!, 1397cc of pure POWER

The car has covered approx 248000 miles

 Epic!

And the buyer claims this nugget of information which is totally believable unfortunately:

There are not many of these left now (approx 90 of all variants according to dvla) so would be a shame to see it scrapped.

I saw one of these fairly local recently and it was a TD with two-tone paint, I often go back to see if it's there (Renner 18 stalker!) but no luck.

You often see them on eBay with very low miles or crashed into things. Old giffer owned obviously.

I quite like the idea of one, especially the Kubota 2 cylinder PUTT PUTT diesel (which would be quite easy to upgrade but would the transmission take it?) but the reality would probably be unbearable.

Aye, I think attempting any journey over about 10 miles and/or involving national speed limits would require either meticulous forward planning or a high degree of foolhardiness. They are truly pointless vehicles, anyone who buys one new clearly needs their brain examining. Show me one for a couple of hundred quid and I still would though.

I see you can buy a high spec one for nearly £12k, and even the boggo ones are £7k+.

GR8 4 French drink drivers, GR1 4 anybody else.

Presumably the vast majority are financed by Motorbility?

Unlikely, Motorbility is solely dedicated to providing brand-new Zafiras to fat idle workshy knackers to drive to Asda & back.

Jeezus, i would like to 'get it on' with that Marina. What a honey!

Wow, didn't expect a Marina to be worth that much, even in that condition

I couldn't decide whether to post this here or the bargains thread instead, It's rare to see one as old as this now but does £1495ono sound steep to you?.

P.s this is at the french specialists in Diss that was spoke of on here a while back when Pete_M needed his 604 weided up.

I've just streetviewed there workshops, looks like a great place to spot some french shite!

Bloke across the road had one for towing behind his "RV", I think he paid something like £600 for it. They sound exactly like a council ride-on lawnmower at 30mph.

Aren't they in the same licence catagory as Reliant 3 wheelers, that can be driven on a motorbike licence?

I think this is their one and only selling point!

To sum the car up when you look in the drives seat can hear Saturday night fever and when you look under the bonnet you can hear yourself say god save the queen.
