'I bought this car from a middle aged chap who really looked after it'.

:lol::lol::lol:

'Has lacquer peel I never noticed it when buying'

Apart from the fact I'd told him about it before he arrived and you couldn't possibly miss it anyhow.

When building yourself a tarmac ripping modified retro car it's always best to start with the most solid shell you can afford.

Oh dear... Really, i mean your putting an engine capable of 300 bhp in a car full of worm, how hard is it to find a MK 1 Fiesta which isn't totally rotted away and then just strengthen the shell up?.

This is the one i went to view this last July before i bought the Kadett, It was a bit of a dog having had a very cheap, quick respray over all the rust, It was up for £1950 but had been for sale for a long time, he told me he'd take £1650, I'll be interested to see what it makes on the bay.

PROTON 1.3 GLS!!!

Short T & T but only gone 400 since MOT last April, sale due to poor health.

If this is correctly advertised then surely its worth a punt for £300 ONO? 8)

I'd hit it, It's just a Mitsubishi Lancer in a party dress, Cheap road tax as well, I bet you'd get that for £200-250.

^^^ A truely hideous selection :D

Couldn't agree less! Every one of those will be an effortless relaxing drive, and the Chevy station wagon is exactly what I would have bought if I hadn't bought my 740 wagon in 2006.
