The Steyr-Puch mil-veh probably goes a whopping 35MPH on the road, absolutely excellent for all purposes.

Top speed of the Haflinger is 45-50MPH. They sold a few, new, to farmers, big estates and the like in the UK. IIRC the glassfibre cab was a UK market special.

That Cav Mk2 is truly delightful. Thank goodness he had second thoughts about modding it!

x2. If my current ebay bidz don't win me owt I'm going to lob some cash at that.

Whoosh, that Cav is spanking, severely tempted to lob a bid on that but it'll go over my meagre budget no bother. Can see it making four figures tbh.

The aged parentals had one of these when I was about seven. The old man, being a bit of a lad, specced the 1500 motor. Nice.

I wondered where that Cav had gone. It used to be a couple of villages away from mine but it's found it's way across the river now I see. If I'd known it was for sale originally I'd have seriously considered it; I have rather a soft spot for early Mk2s and this has the bonus of being local all its life (supplied new by Thompson's of Hull no doubt)

That Xant is tempting. Mind you, a mate let me drive his, and I did wonder what the point was of being able to do 80mph in second. Gawd it sounded good though!

That Bond might not be too bad. If the steering wheel is original (I think the seats are) those and the wheels would see a fair whack of cash back if it ends up being broken - or to help towards funding a re-build.

I am listing this on behalf of a friend of mine. It is being stored in a garage in Hatfield Hertfordshire, and been there since 1998.

I LOVE EBAY NOW THANKS TO ALL THE 196 time wasting messer Ebayers who watched the car and never bid the last time it was on ebay and the three who thought they were going to nick it for £500!

£500 seems pretty fair to me. I've just stuck it in my watch list 8)

i have been informed this is one of only 500 made

Make that 173,000.

Buy it now or Best offer: £1,200. One offer - declined

I wasn't going to add that to my watch list just out of spite until I read it. I've managed to extract this from the one sentence that seems to make up the advert.

i genuinely never even looked at this car all it was ever bought for was the number so i didnt care about the car in any way what so ever i dont like them in any way after the E type or the MK2 jaguar i show these dont seem to cut it any way

Isn't it lucky it sailed straight through an MOT when all he wanted was the plate, yet he has no confidence in its ability to complete a journey!

Added here as well, and I've offered him a rather generous twnty three pounds. A plate raping tosser who is now being greedy. How ever nice an old car may have been, it's crusher time once such cheap cunts on the make get involved.
