Why does it need to be 'rat look' to offend people? Surely an ancient Opel saloon with a modern V6 would be enough on its own.

Utterly futile effort, it's basically scrap fodder now that it has no paint and no suspension.

Posted

No, an Opel saloon with a 3.0 V6 out of an Omega would be thoroughly acceptable. Maybe even very slightly lowered. But that's ruined, and he knows it otherwise he wouldn't be mentioning scrapping in the advert.

€1,000. Mint by name and (kind of) nature.

Is there no escape?

Actually, speaking of which, here's some kind of wank-arse Top Gear Challenge waiting to happen. These cars are all in Marathon, so the turdy pretext almost writes itself.

€1,300 the lot! Same bloke is asking €1,000 alone for that rather excellent Corolla elsewhere on the site.

the V5 is available but it will cost you an additional £600 on top of the car price due to the reg number value

Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the plate worthless without a mot (Not that PRU 104G is worth anything anyway).

to me its a pile of shite

To everyone else it's a pile of shite.

Posted

Auction winner could just apply for an age related plate (for a lot less than £600) and leave the seller with a worthless piece of paper.

Posted

^^^^ he should pay £600 to the twat that takes it off his hands....a strong wind and you would have a rust storm blowing down your streeet

Posted

WTF!! You can't sell a car demanding and additional £600 on selling price for the V5! Total fucking prick.

Edit-I'm tempted to buy it and weigh it in. How much is the reg worth with a scrap marker against it you fucking dolt?

Posted

doovla says that triumph was last taxed in '79.Would it still show if the 'plate was on retention ?

These days you would need the V5 to weigh it in complete so no V5 no scrap marker.

Does the vendor not know that a V62 form will getthe new owner a new V5c?:roll::roll:

He almost certainly doesn't realize that when the buyer sends off said v62 he will get a £55 penalty notice for failing to inform DVLA of the change of keeper

Is it not possible that current owner will/can still be the registered keeper even if someone buys the car?

I really think this "registered keeper" v "owner" is stupid!

LOL that would be awesome! Copy the reg and go on a congestion-charge rampage, too.
