trigger Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 Me thinks perhaps he should have blanked the number plate off the tax disc. I can see the MOT station getting a visit from the friendly chaps at VOSAits MOT exempt. same as the green goddesses and any other commercial before some point in the 60sAnd your telling me that it was driven to the mot station in July, I think not, especially as it also states that it's not been seen since the early 90's, Very dodgy. 1989 Vauxhall Belmont 1.6 GL Well spec'd Belmont with long mot for £550 ono.
Lankytim Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 How about a Maxi (Are those Allegro Equipe wheels?)Yep!

outlaw118 Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Just idly looking at stuff...is this the highest mileage on eBay?Is it the most ignorant gobshite seller - check feedback!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-LONDON-TAXIS ... 3a5e87ee57 No, this is 414k!!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LTI-FAIRWAY-TAXI- ... 27affd315e
warren t claim Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 414k on a hack that age is nothing. I've known 7 figure mileages on the Nissan 2.7 engined ones before. Why this engine isn't transplanted into Land Rovers is a mystery to me.
Guest Leonard Hatred Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 M&D Engineering offers a conversion kit for the Nissan TD27, though I've never heard of one converted.
warren t claim Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 LTI only replaced 6 Nissan engines under warranty in all the time they were using that engine.
warren t claim Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MERCEDES-300SL-24 ... 3f02f6d31a I don't think I have ever seen one of these this cheap before. Paging Pete-M!!!!!

Lovely looking cars those Rapiers though, looks well worth the £1450 BIN, especially with the original number plate and 10 months MOT.

All that's gone wrong with it is a flat battery after being left idle for well over a year, and a couple of age-related sundry electrical issues. THE SUNROOF CAN BE TEMPRAMENTAL.ALSO TYPICAL HEATER DISPLAY DONT WORK
Alexg Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Christ allmighty, that Focus is so awful its not even funny..... In what way, shape or form is it a 'WRC replica'. Each to their own when it comes to modifying, but the bloke who created that has to be a complete and total fucking mong,
M'coli Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Christ allmighty, that Focus is so awful its not even funny..... In what way, shape or form is it a 'WRC replica'.I have asked a question about this vehicle, if the vendor knows his WRC Foci I hope he has the audacity to tell a little white lie about it... I'll let you know if I get a reply! Edit: I'd asked if they were US spec bumpers - the WRC cars had them as they're longer than the EU ones - and got a reply,hi m8 ive no idea what spec bumpers are on the car.Ok, pretty obscure, but if I wanted to buy a WRC replica Focus, it'd need the correct bumpers... (As well as being a 3-door.)
