for sale is this chrysler 1300 dl bought by my father new, has been stored for last 16years, had running last year seems fine, clutch is stuck on ,interior like new when clean no tears rips etc, original wheel trims in boot,37000 genuine mls on clock, the car is totally complete, bad inside rear wheel arches, and bottom of outside arches near doors but doors all ok wings 85%good, struts ok, floor pan appears good think waxed from new

Update!

 

Its sold on eBay last night for £3000 offer accepted, 20 mins after TG finished

 

BIN was £3750.

 

So he dropped it from £4250. Hmm. Bet we see it again next week at £4995. Bah.

Brakes yes, but I wouldn't let a diesel within 20 feet of it! Straight-six out of a late Volvo 960, auto box, luxury retrim, perhaps a blast of Nightfire to show up the chrome, and some 15" steels with chrome discs and whitewalls. 8) Oooh la la!

These are boat-floaters. Though I'd prefer one that had leather and the V6 lump, and lacked the wank-awful chequerplate mats, and didn't involve men in grubby hi-vis jackets in a Canvey Island scrapyard.

Hey - this 1.8 75 Connoisseur auto looks spit-spot for £600 BIN with a full ticket!

 

Let's peruse the downsides in the seller's chosen order of preference:

 

The rear exhaust has part of the system slightly deteriorated

 

The rear registration plate is delaminated but not likely to be misread

 

The car radiator needs regular filling up of water every few days and I am unsure of the cause of this.

 

Me too. Would it help if you relaminated the rear registration plate?
