'Here we have what started life as a Really nice Metro GTA with around 32,000miles 2 owner car. Seems to be clean and rust free which is very rare.It has then had a full straight jacket wearing, penile infection suffering WANKLORD ruin it.

ARRGGGHHH!!!!

That has actually made me really bloody angry!

Also, when I first saw that Mazda I thought it was a Leyland Force 7. Hmmm.

£238, no res. with just under a day to go. I see a potentially cheap nice runabout here and despite short test it just seems to exude MOT confidence, if that makes sense?

I quite like the Metro, at least they have done a good job of fitting the bodykit and painted it!

And why is it always w4nkers that manage to get these uber low mileage oap owned cars like that lovely Nova?

Posted

I think it would probably quite easy to dewanker that Metro, the bodykit's probably not that well attached by the look of it.

Plus the Nova seller will be a car recovery person I bet, as with that gold Montego a few pages back the family just wants rid of mums old car etc. At least he's selling it on and not breaking it or something.

At first glance I assumed this to be an unremarkable and badly finished GP long wheelbase buggy, but spookily just opened a 1984 issue of "Kit Car" whereupon a pic of probably this very car jumped out. Produced by Limited Edition in Warrington, that well known epicentre of buggy culture, the "Californian" dune buggy really was a style free zone. Given the fact that 1984 was about 1 million years after the buggy boom, and there were much nicer ones around I would not be surprised if this was the only one produced, the lights, gas cap and fittings all match the old B/W pic which unfortunately can't be produced here as my scanner's foobar'ed

Not earth shattering news, but a hopefully might stir someone into saving it for posterity rather than robbing the engine

What's not to like here?

Thatt, to me, is the absolute definition of 'old school money'. It looks like just the kind of thing some well to do old boy would buy then fit a towbar so he can take his four inch square trailer to the tip once every leap year.

What's parked next to that 18? Usually I'm not bad at working it out from something like just a roofline (nerd) but this has me stumped.

Mk3 Cortina?

Opel/Vauxhall Senator.

Iveco Cargo, possibly an MAN?

Yeah I meant the red thing. You could be right about it being a Vauxhall.

Bugger me, what a complete mess. I wonder if the bloke has ever stood back, looked at it and just burst into tears.

I HAVE MANAGED TO CHASE A CATERHAM SEVEN OVER HARDNOTT PASS UNTILL HE WAS SO FED UP OF ME OUT HANDLING HIM HE PULLED OVER TO ALLOW ME TO PASS

No mate, no you fucking haven't. The bloke was probably just out for a Sunday drive with his missus, and saw you come flying up behind him like some kind of spastic tripod version of Duel, decided it best to get out of your way seeing as you clearly aren't of sound mind.

If just removing one of the rear wheels of a metro then moving the other one to the middle made a vehicle "handle" so amazingly well, don't you think you'd see trikes being driven by people without major learning disabilities?

Deffo a Senator. Or a Carlton. Possibly. Or an Opel Rekord of course. Tell you what, I'll shut up now.:oops:
