I've just spent the last five minutes laughing my cobblers off at that thing: it's got 'Chieftain' on the sides in 6" high letters except wot it's spelt rong, there's no engine, bodywork made of inch thick ply (with no woodworm), UFO spotter driving lamps, rear lights fitted on the piss, rank & mouldy interior. It's fantastic, somebody please save it and shove a Perkins 4203 under the bonnet

Watch out for hop-ons!

"I wonder why the people in the office carpark were STAIRING at me"

That Stair Truck would be a right weapon for local scrotes, you could park it up next to a church and steal all the lead off the roof.

If that's the HBL Auto I think it is (and it probably is), it's rather lovely. It used to belong to a South African bloke who emigrated back home. IPTOC informed.

That "square" does look remarkably smart, i bet the seller is expecting top money.....

That bonnet scoop looks ideal* for a car famed for its pioneering transverse engine layout.:lol::lol:

Where do i start? Looks like the lads into a bit of home-grown veg though so thats a good sign.

I guess there's always the fact that this car would be a good source of MARINAFLAPS for anyone who happens to need two.

Less than 23k, needs a bit of work like, but laid up for 20 odd years....

I saw it yesterday on my Vespa hunt - it looks cool. Reminds me of the Messerschmitt pick up things.

Maybe I should be on German Ebay looking at Messerschmitt Vespas.
