That 131 looks like a fuggin WOBFEST 2010, the paint is ridiculously bright and a different colour to the underbonnet. Theres no way i'd pay a four-figure sum for that.

It's even ready 2 toned to hide the inevitably bog laden doors / sills

Would anyone like to basically get their wang out and cover me from head to toe in a powerful blast of hot, steaming piss? (automotively speaking of course)

If so simply spend €480 on this seemingly much better than mine Maz 929 hardtop stacker and drive it home from the south of France.

Thoughts of owning that Yugo make the inevitable seperation from the Mrs, the subsequent homelessness and loss of earnings seem worthwhile. Bigtime.

Aren't they just the most endearing shape? :D When I was learning to drive and looking for a car, I went to our local Lada garage with my dad and sat in a £900 green Yugo 311, much to the suprise of the salesman who must have wondered why a 17-year-old would be interested in such a car! I ended up with a £275 Allegro instead.

1.3l Maestro on LPG!! This has got to be the ultimate cheapskate motoring. I literally can't think of a way to spend less money on travel.

That XR3 is awesome, I'd bloody love that. I should probably spend a bit of effort and money getting my 323 GT sorted properley however!

Posted

A teacher at my primary school had a blue XR3 - I remember being fascinated by its wheels, like the one in the photo. That's just about as sporty as road cars should be, in my opinion. 8)

That's worrying. :( I like watching Top Gear to a certain degree but I hate it when they smash up cars like Morris Marinas - it just encourages vandals and the like.

What kind of a tight git would LPG a 1.3!

Surely it would take decades to recoup the conversion costs in fuel savings?

I think that's a wind-up. If TG did want more Marinas I doubt they would let the seller know.

Probably. I think you can get a good profile of the twat from this question. Hes a billy-no-mates, a little overweight and loves Warcraft. Hes in his early-mid 20s and no doubt does some rather boring computer programing job. I expect he has posted his question into some Bellend car forum in hope that it generates 'LOL' from all the other idiots who see Top Gear as the authority on cars. He will feel accepted this way. He drives a Subaru Impratza - no more than 5ks worth and lives at home with his mum. Soon he will no longer afford to run the Impratza and it'll take him an age to sell it as he has a vastly over-inflated view of it value. His 1998 1.25 Fiesta replacement will turn into a 3 year 'temporary' measure, but his Impratza will remain in his sig for all to see he was one one of them. Hes single and lost his virginity to a cheap brass in Amsterdam.

Or it might be real.

One things for sure, either way I want to shoe him in

Is he mental? there's no way a self-built replica will be worth 35k! It wouldn't take much more than that to buy a pukka one, and you can buy them brand new ready to go for (I think) a lot less

(Peel I mean)

Yeah there were some lads on Dragons Den trying to get some money to make new electric ones. Also the Aussie Top Gear people used them in the Ashes special.

Posted

I think the dragons/cunts said ''I'm in'' to that project though i'm not sure if you can actually buy one yet. There have been reps knocking about for years, one fella does the whole range of microcar reps - 'schmidtt, isetta, peel etc all in GRP. I'm sure Messerschmidtt Owner knows who I mean.

Posted

^^ I'd be well up for some of that, except it would probably snap in half as I towed it away...

£10k ready to go from Andy Carter - of course, you can get a Triumph Tina 98cc version (as standard on the last few real ones), a twist and go scooter engine or a DKW scooter engine.
