30 years ago on the 5th of May 1993 the very last Volvo 240 rolled off the production line at the Torslanda plant. 2,862,413 240’s were made. On the 7th of May they held a ceremony for the car at the production plant.

A day of mourning was held in Scotland.

I've heard of another demolition export "Blaster" Bates who used explosives & also was an after dinner speaker, along with recording some records of anecdotes.
