Lucky girl, this would have been quite an exotic little car back then.

Reg number is Oxfordshire circa June 1958. If you have a spare few quid the registration records survive and will show who the owner was when new (might be supplying dealer if they registered it). VIN and full date of registration are not recorded nor is what the vehicle was!

I once owned a CCTV monitor that used to be in his house!  Unfortunately it had a lot of screen burn, & when I needed to do a clear-out it had to go, which I still regret, as it still otherwise worked.

Now he was a class act. I recall driving on the M1 with DLT or Noel E covering him blowing up some chimney. Held the news back as the explosive moment approached, wouldn't get away with that now.

Surprised he went on as long as he did. Explosives everywhere, petrol soaked timber at the base of the chimney and he’s walking around with a fag in his hand.

As for the ladders. They don’t even look safe on his Landrover let alone 100ft up a chimney held on by some suspect looking rope.
