That was very representative of that era indeed. "There ain't nooOOO way somebody goes past me in a bASe. Not if they're going the same place as me." He was well up himself because of his GL 2.0 with the all-important 'i' on the end, but I think I remember him saying that he really fancied a red Calibra (he didn't say which version), or a Mazda 626 like one of his colleague's IIRC.

Very 80s whether you get a L or GL Cavalier or Sierra. Nowadays it has to be a 320d.
