Haha these are amazing! The chequered spotlight covers take the biscuit, how on earth that could ever be used on a car aimed at the higher classes beats me.Agh I actually like the Montego in two tone though. Still, should be renamed the everton mint.......

A lot of montego's ended up like that after a few years. The old giffers had to keep bodging the doors and arches for rust

Those alloys on the Montego/Maestro are horrid!Some of the Metros don't look too bad but the rest of them look shocking. The lower paint treatment makes the Montego look like a base model with black bumpers, but then on the Maestro they've painted the bottom of the doors but colour-coded the bumpers which looks even weirder.Headlamp protector grilles on the Metro? GR8 for offroading!

Can somebody please explain what the is function of a 'functional rear spoiler' on a bog standard Metro.

That MG Maestro is dreadful, like they've stonechipped it but left the bumpers alone.
