NEC Classic car show pics... mostly just the shite bits!

Just spent the last 3 days at the NEC Classic car show, helping run one of the stands. Had an opportunity to have a good nose about, loads to see and a great variety as usual. Entry and parking prices were... let's be diplomatic and say 'a bit spicy'. Fortunately I had exhibitor passes! Visitor numbers seemed down compared to usual, presumably due to continuing anxiety over that there virus, which is fair enough. 

So, for the benefit of anyone who didn't want to go or couldn't be there for whatever reason, here's some pics. I've largely ignored the big-ticket stuff and tried to photograph things more suited to this parish. That's not to say all these cars are shite of course! 

Anyway, enough preamble - pictures ahoy!

I don't usually do car park spots at this show. This, however, was notable:

Just cos it's fast, doesn't mean it isn't shite... 

And finally... a couple from the Meguiars stand. For such a prestigious stand, it yielded a couple of surprises - for example, this Marina... 

And even more surpsingly, a dusky rose pink Y reg Corsa!

Think that one is a real Coca Cola "edition," IIRC it was the first won from the three competitions.

Well... that actually wasn't quite it. Decided to add a bit of an addendum - here's the stuff I photographed that isn't really of AS interest. Movie cars, race cars, high end stuff, customs etc. Hard-core shitists may want to skip this one...

 

No idea what this used to be. Looks mean as hell :

I've never seen a Veyron before, either in the wild or at a show. This was was for sale at £1.5 million. Wonder if they'd swap for a Rover 216...?

And to round off properly... a pair of Japanese performance icons in their rarest form - totally stock!

Great photos! I miss so much on this weekend as I go to Lowestoft for remembrance service. Also miss Telford model show on same weekend. Any pictures of the manta club stand?

It's one of those shows where you always miss something... and it looks like I missed the Manta stand. Sorry!

I just came on here to start a thread and post pix but you’ve saved me the trouble as most pix are overlaps. 
 

For  me that blue low mileage one owner Fuego and the Fiat Argenta were cars of the show, along with the brown DeTomaso Longchamps GTS in the posh hall.
