Couple of local car shows... but just the shite bits.

So the last two weekends there's been a couple of good car shows near where I am. Last weekend was the Atherstone motor show, followed by the Hinckley motor show yesterday. 

Always a good turnout, there was all the usual show fare - supercars, popular classics, kit cars, scooters, giffers talking bollocks, screaming children etc. Everything we love about a local British car show. Everyone was photographing the flashy stuff, so I decided just to focus on the shite - of which, I'm pleased to say, seems to be establishing a real presence at shows. 

Let's kick off with Atherstone:

Stimson Scorcher. Because why wouldn't you want to ride a Mini like a motorbike?

Looked cool, but bloody hell the build quality on these is visibly shonky! Mind you, not like Britain's own FX4 was much better...

Interesting woodwork on this Moggy. Also proof that at least one Morris Minor was in attendance, which is a legal requirement for any classic car show.

Moving on to the Hinckley show... I immediately got my phone out to find @egg's database. Unsurprisingly, this was already on it:

Saw the white PC Cresta a few weeks ago when I went to a local(Leicester) car paint place. Owner had just bought it  and had gone for some touch up paint. Said it cost 10k.

Nice. Far more interesting than the super shiny gets trailered ther expensive stuff - that is literally everywhere. That Commer AFs truck is superb.
