Fun this.  I don't think I'd be able to route under the sink at work and dash out with a Terry towel and some ancient shine 2000 wax and do impromptu paint correction at the office.

And no, I didn't clean it before using the "wax"

I also decided to sort out the number plate lights that kept blowing.

Water was getting into the lamps because the plastic trim was all broken and bent, so wasn't sealing and shielding them from the rain.

Soldering plastic at the desk is definitely frowned upon.

I will probably tidy it up with some filler sand paper and textured paint.. or I might not bother 

It's not hanging off with tape around it anymore and with sharp stuff protruding so that's an improvement.

Have a can of beer open next to you while you do it. They won't mind the soldering then!

I answered three emails and had a conference call as well as phoning a few people.

Had a project document approved too.

So yeah work got "done".
