Quite refreshing to see barely any "Posh" motors in those pics. I wonder when the exact point was when everyone started leasing BMW's, Audi's and Mercs ?

I can't be certain, but I'd bet it's roughly coincident with the point at which cars no longer mostly had local reg plates. That was something that struck me going through those pics, as it often does in sets of period pics from other parts of Britain.

That album was superb. A lot of shots of the Holmlea Road area. I lived just off that main road in Garry Street 2003 - 2005.
