I don’t have any kids, but on the wider question of shite in the family my parents have a Sierra but it’s days are numbered. 

None of my six siblings drive anything under 3 or 4 years old.

Nothing yet, but it's on my mind as my eldest is 17 next year. I think she'd like to give the '88 Sunny a go, but I'd prefer her to have something bit more robust and disposable like a Yaris as a first car.

Miss Primeradoner has a MX5 as a summer car and a Yaris  as a winter beater. The Yaris replaced  a P10 primera which is still  in my unit awaiting either a mot or a H frame and door plate.
