So went away for a lads stag doo, and took some time out on two nights to go for danders about and see what I could find..... times they are most definitely changing...

Wasn't that many years ago that you would have spotted 205, 309, older generation Seat (Fiats in disguise), and lots of old Citroen and Renault chod.....

Slim pickings I'm now I'm afraid. Lots of mk5 Escort knocking about. Lots of KA too. All totally rot free I might ad, as was the k11 Micra. All had battle scars and collision marks, but were totally rot free. The k11 had the best sills I've ever seen.

Few Xsantia and Xsara about too.

Laguna for datsuncog!

A Fiat bravo... brava... Always got them confused

An early Hyundai Accent which was in terribly good shape

One Vectra b.... but surprised to see very few Opels in general

Really should have grabbed the Renault Extra disabled car that was offered free on here a while ago...

If it's old French chod you want, go to Sabadell, near Barcelona.  Every other vehicle is a forlorn-looking piece of 90s heritage.

Oosh! Pre-facelift RT version - nice one!

That Bravo/a looks like it came last in an arse-kicking competition...

Still a commendable showing of 20yr-old+ chod out there, cheers for taking the pics!

Spain's odd. Lots of places completely boring, then somewhere you'd consider upmarket is full of glory. Ibiza over the past three years has yielded daily driving Renault 7, 6, 12, Talbots, Simcas, early Kadetts, and even on one very exciting occasion a Seat 1430.  Needless to say the group I was with was profoundly bemused.

Portugal is a bit like that. The wealthier cities and it’s all newish cars, go off the beaten track and find the rural areas and its shite abound. Loads of Mk5 Fiestas, Mk3 Transit still working for a living.

Am recently back from hols near Barcelona and didn't spot anything vaguely noteworthy in the wild. Did attend a car show which yielded old Fiat-style SEATs, old Renaults, and loads of American stuff.
