Any one interested in old invalid carriages?

Hi gang.

In the process of clearing out my dad's house of various old bits of tat; he has these two old invalid carriages.  One's a Safari and one a 'Countryman'.  Any use to anyone?  Probably once ran, can make no guarantees as to present mechanical condition.

One of them needs V8ing.

IIRC Fraser the owner of VES108S/XEV88S owns a similar mobility scooter to the safari one that he plans on dropping a larger 16Hp Lump into so he can go faster then about 8Mph

not sure what the legality of that is mind!

Location 10 miles east of Plymouth.  As for price, anyone interested make me an offer.  Haven't a clue what they're worth

When I googled it a similar Safari seemed to have made £200 recently,  Feel free to do your own homework though!

I’ve just googled these and apparently there’s a bolt on the gearbox which blanks off most of the gears? Apparently with this removed there dangerously quick (approx 12 mph)

None

pensioners are lethal on them , it's 4mph limit on the path , over that they have to be registered and free road taxed , then they can go on the road with an 8mph limit , what tends to happen is they buy one on ebay they drive at 8mph on the path with no insurance
