This is pretty standard behaviour across most forum software where self hosting is provided. PhpBB definitely does the same thing by default and has done for as long as I can remember.

Which definitely goes back far enough to have seen me uploading images via 33.6k dial-up, so wasn't yesterday.

 

One thing I've noticed since switching to a new phone last weekend is that there's a broken image showing for an icon on a lot of the user avatars - as below.

This is showing identically in Chrome, Kiwi Browser (which is based on Chromium) and Firebox.

God knows why the forum software has lost that image. Just uploaded it again based off the one in my phone cache. 

Iirc it's done it before randomly after an update.

Because Invision sounds like a good explanation!

Guessing I only just noticed it because it was still cached on my old phone and on my desktop.

I just tried to reset my password but haven't got the email through to do this. I can't reset it on this logged  in session as I can't remember what my original password was. Any ideas?

I re did the password reset request and still nothing

I rebooted the server the other day after an update. Turns out one of the updates broke the mail server config. Fixed that and I think it's back to spamming everyone. Especially as it's going through the backlog and sending everything on that was queued.

Anyway no one appears to have noticed that the notification emails have been broken for a few days 🫣

Thanks for fixing it I only had one device left logged in if that got logged out I'd be one dangerous step a way from a productive life.

I did but thought it was a normal shift in sending time again. My daily updates never arrive at the same time each day. It does not bother me.

I did get "spammed" 4 emails send in a short space of time. Just catching up on things now.

Sorry, use not cure. The text is small and I have to scroll around to be able to read it easily. How do I set the display so I can view more easily on my phone. I didn't have any problems before so must have pressed something.

I'm thinking of ways I could save money on the hosting bills. To cross post I'm putting this here as its a pinned post and more likely to catch eyes before the thread below is lost from other threads coming in.

So feel free to post in this thread here anyone has views on this:

 

TL;DR We're currently on virtual server hosting but its bloody expensive for what it is. Dedicated server would be a third cheaper but needs the hardware monitoring potentially.

I have the paste option (android Chrome) , did what you wanted to copy actually copy properly?
