1980 Triumph Dolomite 1300 Projectshite

Right, final offer on this. Project Dolomite, needs welding in the boot, drivers side sill and a small patch on one of the chassis rails at the front, bodywork is tatty but eminently viable. Spares are easy to get and it is one of the most mechanically simple cars of ever.

Needs a battery, oil and filter change and should happily run from a remote fuel supply as the tank is out to gain access to the boot floor. Takes 10 mins to refit it however, so I may just do that. Interior is okay. Brooklands green, which is a colour that really suits the car. A few new bits to go with it. Boot repair section included.

£550. £499 - This weekend only and only for the forum folk.

Isn't going to get any cheaper than £499 and the values of these cars is finally rising.

Location: North London N9.

Piccies on the forum elsewhere.

Surely someone must have some Triumph lustings?

I've massive triumph lustings, more specifically dolomite based ones, even more specifically brooklands green ones, but unfortunately nothing to back them up with, I do keep looking at your adverts though, here and on Fakebook, really hoping someone gets it back on the road

God damn it! I have just spent not far off this on a set of frickin' tyres!

I wish I had the space. Sodding house purchase problems. :(

That is an exceptionally good price for any Dolomite, never mind one which is in good shape and so close to being on the road.

Not able to buy it myself, but have a free bump to the top.

Yes, it is cheap.

I could bloody break it for more money but I'd hate to see this get done by anyone as it really is very, very viable.

Good solid front wings go for silly money, same for front valance/front panels. There is the asking price already. Good headlights go for about £15 each and good sidelights £25 each. Engine £100. There's £700 plus already but sadly one less Dolly.

Keep it Ken, £500 is giving it away. Either relist on fleabay later in the year or do it as you get time. Is the triumph owners forum still going? Worth putting it on there if it is.

It's Monday. It's my day off after working on Sunday. It's pissing down.

So, what am I going to do?

Do some stuff on the bloody Dolomite that's what.

Going to get some pez and some coolant (the old fashioned blue glycol based shite), will top up the fluids and lob the Toledo battery on and see what happens.

Wish me luck.

Can a mod please lob this in the appropriate direction onthe main forum please. may as well use this as the basis for the project thread I suppose :)
