Good work Fred, i've sent a email back with a copy of the logo at the top, hopefully that will be better, i looked the one on the main site but It's in a different shape format to the one on the forum which wouldn't make a good window sticker imho.

I'd be interested in some Autoshite Y-fronts to replace my current pair of semenally stained undercrackers. I'd like the Autoshite bit on the back (or the arse-piece if you like) as this part of the pantage has the most area surface also it would be a sort of ironic and also the logo would be free from any sort of distortion when viewing a Tagora or 604 for example...not that I look at cars in my pants...much.

Er, best I could come up with.....

Yeah, it's no Comic Sans.

It doesn't look like comic sans either, if that's what you mean.... BTW, I hope whoever designed the logo isn't gonna sue me!

I'll go with the majority view of stickers = yes, clothing = no. I've always felt there's something a bit sad about car related clothing, like the people who wander around car shows dressed out like rally support crew

Each to their own, nothing wrong with a club T shirt, I have one of me own..... Stickers are a major problem, there is nowhere you can 'make a sticker online to buy directly, ie order them for yourself, as opposed to somebody having to buy a minimum run and sell them one or two at a time.

Was thinking of doing some for AS, let me know if anybody wants me to do any particular car (I will need a clear pic to make a line drawing)

Now if that Tranny shirt didn't have the writing then it'd look more than alright, personally I think there is a very fine line between t-shirts that use a car within a graphic-art image and carry it off well and shirts that just look a bit wank and I've noticed that its usually the latter generally. I've seen some great Mini t-shirts, very simple very understated and you could wear one feeling that you're wearing a bit of graphic art referencing a nice icon of motoring, I am thinking twice however because I would look like a sad twat getting out of my mini wearing car a mini inspired garment.

I was for a year a member of the Rover SD1 club back in the day before the interweb made life easy for collecting shit, they had (with real-life models) some childrens t-shirts with Rover SD1 club written all over them, not only did the shirts look gash but I felt sorry for the poor little kids that had to don them on a whim of an adult who ought to have known better. :?

That's the shirt I did for my forum, so I kind of thought the URL was a bit important! :D

Yeah I know, difficult one because you are trying to promote something and obviously if it were just the Transit it wouldn't give me any info so I understand why you put it there I was just saying it would look good in its own right with just the transit on there. 8)

I know what you mean, yes it would, and I have the design but I might put some profit on it, if it's not advertising me forum!

This guy does some pretty 'autoshite' t-shirts, but insists on putting silly strap lines on them.

Aren't they just copies of real ads? If they are not, that's what they are supposed to look like.

:D I was doing em through Cafepress mate! I did the Spreadshirt one, but you have to convert the design to a vectra design to print it on black.

"Anorak mode" - No because the coupe is a Mk2, whilst the 'beauty with brains behind tag line' was only used for the Mk1' - "Anorak mode"

Oh I get you, but I think it's supposed to look like an advert. Any news on the stickers yet?

If you mean the actual official logo, no cos as I explained it needs to be converted to a different file type for me to upload it to the site (for black T shirts) so I used the best match font. The jpg files can only be used on white T shirts. No idea why. Have you thought of copying the logo and printing on to iron on transfer paper, to put it on your own T shirt? Or you could take the logo on a memory stick or CD to a copy shop, most do one off T shirts now. Not a cheap way of doing it though....

Shouldn't the T-shirt be brown, or do we just buy the white one and stick it through the wash with a load of instant coffee and some salt and hope for the best?I'd buy one anyway.

Yes, But not good. The logo i sent that you had made larger Fred was still to small, It needs to be 100kb or 300 dpi to would seem, Which i think will be the same problem with everyone you contact for stickers. Also the measurement comes out at 11" x 1" so it won't scale to 6" x 2 but that's not a problem.Price wise your looking at for 100 stickers would be £150 first timeSecond time out £1 each. In static cling (lick and stick). So i guess you be looking at £2.25 each posted but you would still have to find £150 for the original outlay for them and hope you sell them all as well.

What if interested parties chipped in to help with initial outlay?
