For Sale Potentially available - Mazda 323 with pop up lights!

I may have the chance of this coming into my possession ... 

 

 

It's had a shunt up the back and will probably need a bit of work to be roadworthy but I can't see it scrapped.

 

Spotted it outside an old style repair garage and spoke to the bloke who works there. He said it belongs to an old lady who has had it years and it has had no expense spared over the years. It is mechanically sound, so I'm told. It is probably going to be a write off, and she will be washing her hands of it most likely as it's an uneconomical repair.

 

Any interest on here? I may just part it out or try to find another to make one good car...

 

Ps. Reg number is available for MOT check purposes, I just had to promise to blank it out due to the old lady who owned it being a bit paranoid apparently.

That's a 323F1.6GLX manual in Passion Rose. '92-'94?
Black door mirrors mean no sunroof, no ABS, wind up windows, Clarion radio cassette.
It'll have the dark interior trim with blue and green highlights (rather than the earlier light grey velour that always looked grubby).

There's actually two of them, in pretty rough condition, the other one is blue. They belong to the son of the garage owner.

I was about to say save it for the pop-ups alone but thats not fixable. Good parts car though!

The 1600 would be a bit more nippy in Mike D's Roffle 3 door BG.  Same car under the covers.

If someone feels particularly brave, they could get a very cool, fun and cheap to run sporty car for scrap value though. You'd need have quite a bit of talent in bodywork to straighten out that rear end though...
