eBay tat volume 3.

I think these kind of adverts are my favourite ones as they start out really positive before getting to the crux of the matter, which is of course that it's totally pumped.

A while back I was looking for a mid-sized car to replace my Fiesta and found a Citroen ZX on ebay about to end at a really low price - £300 with tax and test.  The advert was long and very well-written with lots of details and photographs.  The car looked immaculate, low mileage, nice spec and colour, full service history etc. and seemed like an absolute steal.  I was almost ready to lob a bid on until I got to the very last line of the essay-length description which revealed the engine to be dead due to a broken camshaft.  Minor detail really though.

It's true. It is. I really need to increase my car buying fund! Oh, sorry. I really need a car buying fund!

Mine's a '68 TS so the first of the TS models. It was restored some time in the 90's I think. It has a few bubbles coming up here and there but is generally pretty solid. I think the only bad bit is the leading edge of the underside of the bonnet. Paintwork isn't brilliant but looks fairly presentable. Runs and drives great and the interior is very nice. I don't really want to sell it but I need to as I have to raise the funds for my imminent Arna purchase.

That black 16 is more cool than a cool thing.

Even forty years old I bet it is more comfortable than any new Renault.

These would have to be one of the ultimate Q-cars.

I had one of these. Bloody lovely car and had the lovely VTEC-style rev-off after 4k RPM.

What's the pedal count?

What's the pedal count?

That, above almost all others, is the Important Question.

I'm sorry, let me get this straight....

You are considering selling this idyllic steel blue Renault 16 TS to raise funds for an Alfa Romeo Arna?

We'll actually it's a Nissan Cherry Europe GTi, but yes... in essence that's the M.O.

It's a TS so logically it needs to be 3 pedal. Two pedals only belong in lardy TX waftmobiles!

3 pedals belong in anything to be driven by someone else, or for work.  If I'm choosing to drive it, on my own time (and I suspect Junkman will second this) the maximum is 2.  Does look a treat though, GLWTS.
