Is that a proper Ford colour? I’ve always wondered?

I dunno but there's another one at Gaydon Motor Museum.

There's loads of great exhibits there, but the green Capri is just... meh

That is one hell of a find. Chevanne survivors must be in single digits, surely?

There can't be many left, I think I've only seen 1 in the last 30 years or so.

the one in Gaydon is the actual one from the show (well technically the second one used in the show, as the first episode it features in is actually a mk2 Capri)

Signal green?

Maybe, my memory of the Holts colour chart has...faded.

Not signal green ( a rare/unpopular colour & I think  with signal yellow reserved for "S" models) think the MK2  (UYD was a G or M suffix in Somerset) was painted specifically in a bright green for the show, the MK3 was probably genuine ford highland green as it changed during 81 to peppermint green & (CCA was only issued with an S or X suffix by Cheshire ) so both are false plates ,it's possibly 2 different mk3s or maybe just the pics, as several reliants were used over the years.

That is ace, obviously. I never realised how tall the instrument binnacle is. It looks like I'd struggle to see the road ahead over the top of it, judging by the seat position.
